TASOSS produced Video cassette on tsunami and our efforts on tsunami Rehabilitation. Another cassette on Panchayat Raj Institution (PRI)

Subscriptions for around 70 magazines relating to Research, Peoples’ organisation, rural development, Women, Ideology, and Politics etc. are being paid. These magazines are being kept for reference. Extracts of important data, article, and information are taken from journals and news papers and kept in separate files subject-wise. The bound volumes of some of the magazines are fully made use of for some reference by readers with different interest.

At present there are about 5773 books in the Library. These books deal with subjects on Women, Religion, Ideology, Sociology, Studies on Tamilnadu, International affairs, Law, Peoples organisations, History, Caste, Research, Training, Psychology, Health, Agriculture, Stories, Tamil literature, Economics, Culture, Administration, Politics etc.

These books are borrowed by the staff of TASOSS, DSSS and NGOs for reference and return. Besides this, those who undergo training programmes at TASOSS i.e. staff of DSSSs, leaders of the groups, priests, nuns, deacons, members from other voluntary organisations, research scholars from local colleges and universities are also borrowing books from Documentation Centre.

TASOSS disseminates knowledge and information to grass-root through its guide book Manitha Membadu(Human Development). It provides ample chances to members and readers of the people's organization to express their views and share their developmental experiences.

Collection of information from books, Documentation centre, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets from Government departments and from people.
Methodology: Data, article informations, songs, case studies etc. are collected by using the following methodologies
